A few ways to volunteer:
Sort, stock, and help pack boxes on food distribution days.
(Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, during food assistance hours.)
Route Pickup Driver
Help pick up food from the food bank, local grocery stores, restaurants and schools on our established routes.
We offer prayer in a welcoming setting that allows our clients to know that we care and are concerned for their well being.
Provide general office support including filing, typing, mailing, data entry, cleaning and making appointments. You can volunteer anytime during regular business hours.
Your business, church, school, small group, or civic club can organize a food drive to stock the shelves and freezers at Helping Hands.
There are many ways that you can help raise funds. Ask for donations for Helping Hands in lieu of Birthday gifts, Christmas gifts, or Sympathy gifts. Organize a bake sale or car wash. Have a yard sale. Host a Pancake Breakfast. Hold a Raffle. Host a Talent Show. Need some more ideas? Call us!
