We partner with the City of High Point to provide utility assistance to qualifying individuals who have their utilities through the City of High Point.
City of High Point Customers ONLY
on a first come first serve basis
Your utilities must be through the City of High Point
Your service must be active - we cannot help with deposits or if service has been disconnected
You must not have recieved utility assistance from us or another agency in the past 90 days
You must be willing and able to cover part of the expense of your utility bill - Helping Hands does not pay 100% of the bill
You must have already received an extension from the city and have a cut off notice.

What type of utility assistance do you offer?
Helping Hands High Point, Inc. offers utility assistance to families with children, disabled, and the elderly alike. This assistance is used to help those will late bills (past due), but not disconnected. Unfortunately, we are unable to help with reconnections or deposits. We do not offer cash assistance or assistance for utilities other then the City Of High Point Utilities.
